El MUSEO KARURA ART CENTRE, (MKAC), participa en el Congreso Internacional: SLACTIONS-2010, Resarch Conference in The Second Life World.

SLACTIONS reúne, cada año, proyectos internacionales de carácter artísticos, científicos, cultural, educativos… que utilizan las nuevas tecnologías para la difusión y realización de los mismos. En la edición de este año, 2010, las sedes desde las que se celebraron las ponencias correspondientes, (un total de 28), fueron la University of Manchester, (UK, Manchester Business School); Säo Paulo, Brasil, (Poncificia Universidade Católica); Texas, (Texas Soutern University); Hong Kong, (Politechnic University); Nueva Zelanda, (Wellington Institute of Tecnology), Oporto, Portugal, (University of Oporto) y Tel Aviv, Israel, (Tel Aviv-Yaffo Academic College).

Los proyectos seleccionados por la organización de SLANTIONS 2010 son I CUMBRE DE ARTE LATINOAMERICANA DEL MKAC-COMPARTIENDO ARTE” con la exposición “COMPARTIENDO ARTE”, organizada por la Dirección del museo para conmemorar el 12 de octubre de 2009, (“Día de la Hispanidad”), y “BAUHAUS. ESCUELA DE CREATIVIDAD”, (ver:), exposición realizada para celebrar el 90º Aniversario de la Escuela de la BAUHAUS.
